The personal statement is now split into three structured questions to help you better showcase your motivations, preparation, and potential. Each answer must be at least 350 characters and the overall limit remains 4000 characters (with spaces).
Why do you want to study this course or subject?
Explain what inspired you to apply. Mention specific interests, moments, or influences that made you passionate about the subject.
Have your qualifications and studies helped you prepare for this course or subject?
Describe how your subjects and studies helped prepare you. Include skills, knowledge, or relevant experiences from school or college.
What else have you done to prepare outside of education, and why are these experiences useful?
Highlight work experience, extracurriculars, or hobbies. Show how they helped you develop qualities relevant to university study.
This format is designed to make the writing process easier and more focused. Instead of facing a blank page, you now have clear prompts to guide your response - helping you give strong, relevant examples that universities want to see.
